I posted this on facebook today and I might as well post it here also. Oh, and I guess it gets fairly META here: Originally I posted this video on YouTube as advertising for my then new blog - a blog about my YouTube channel. And now I upload the video from YouTube about the blog - to the blog! @_@ LOL
By the way, I see it's been 8 years since I last posted on this blog!!! It sure as hell doesn't feel like 8 years. I'm confident nobody is even checking this blog - or the channel - anymore. I haven't made a video for years and years. And most of the old ones are gone - I cringe when I check them out now, LMAO. Anyhoo, if any old fellow YouTubers are reading this I hope you're well and all. ^_^
From facebook:
When realising "what has true value in this world" gets banned!
A decade and a half ago there was a horror film review community on YouTube. I'm sure there are still film communities on there, but this particular community is almost gone now. A few channels are still there, but most of the old collectors from back then are gone now. Me included. I did a channel entitled "Psychotronic Broadcasting". It's easy to think facebook is worse now than what social media used to be.
Well, that's probably true, but it's not like you could post just anything. Here's a video I posted in 2013 as advertising for my then new blog - a companion piece to the yt channel. YouTube removed it immediately. They claimed I was trying to scam people. I explained it was advertising for my blog. It was retarded. There's no scamming in it. Nothing that even remotely could be regarded as a scam. Maybe they just didn't get that its title "To realise what has true value in this world!!!" was a complete piss-take. I was well aware my channel was pretty crap and I had maybe 50 viewers. But leave it to yt to capiche sarcasm and you'll be misunderstood all the way that's for sure. And needless to say they were adamant, and the video was deleted. Later my external hdd died and I thought the it was lost, but lo and behold I have just been able to save a low res copy from the depths of yt hell.

NB: No, I don't do videos anymore and haven't done so for a long time. The old videos are gone (by my own hand. At some point you look at them and go "argh!")
