Hey there! I'm Jack J, welcome to my YouTube channel/blog PSYCHOTRONIC BROADCASTING. ^_^

Why PSYCHOTRONIC BROADCASTING instead of "horror film broadcasting" or something similar? Because I watch all kinds of psychotronic films!! Why only watch horror when you can also enjoy way cool stuff like BLAXPLOITATION, biker movies, OLD SCI-FI, weirdo, cult tv shows, t-r-a-s-h films, weird doc's, etc. etc.

My film preferences: Always the alternative!!! CRUEL JAWS instead of JAWS!! A BETTER TOMORROW instead of DIE HARD!! VIOLENT SHIT instead of 300 American remakes!!! SPIRAL/ENGRENAGES (violent French cop show) instead of w-h-a-t-e-v-e-r!!! That is not to say I don't enjoy the classics but I just don't see a point in not exploring everything else as well.

"PSYCHOTRONIC" is a term first spawned by MICHAEL WELDON for his legendary magazine "Psychotronic Video" (and 2 film encyclopaedia books) that ran for around 25 years. The term basically means all films in the "fantastic genres". I highly recommend the mag and the books and urge you to seek them out.
